Farm to table gourmet breakfast, highlighting fresh, local ingredients are the focal point of our daily breakfast fare. Enjoy a full course breakfast served alfresco, on the open air patio, weather permitting , while taking in the sights and sounds of the lake in all her glory. Sip a cup of freshly ground coffee, steamy brewed tea or made from scratch creamy hot chocolate in the Four Seasons Room, overlooking the lake, or in the formal dining room, near the glow of the warming fire while farm-fresh egg dishes, waffles, pancakes, and homemade pastries are being prepared to your liking.
Celebrating the seasons on Catawba, breakfast starters include fresh fruit compote, with locally grown fruits, such as sweet, juicy Catawba peaches, berries and melon or delicious baked stuffed apples chocked full of oatmeal, raisins & nuts. Specialty entrée dishes, sweet and savory, made with farm fresh eggs, such as Blueberry French toast casseroles, omelets, frittatas and eggs benedict are served complete with locally raised breakfast meats. Fresh from the oven, home baked goods including Mom’s Pecan Sticky Buns, fruit- filled Danish or a variety of coffee cakes are served daily. Decadence at its best! Locally sourced honey and maple syrup along with our house made jams and jellies are offered tableside; freshly ground hot coffee, tea assortment, or hot chocolate complete the experience. Special requests can be accommodated with advanced notice.
Special dietary needs can be accommodated with prior notice. Healthy options include sweet potato hash, topped with eggs, any style and turkey sausage or a baked oatmeal brulee served with berries and nuts.
